The Wienerwaldgymnasium Tullnerbach is a public school in the market town of Tullnerbach in the federal state of Lower Austria and is part of the Norbertinum Tullnerbach school complex. The school is located on the old Westbahn , not far from the Tullnerbach-Pressbaum train station.

history

The Wienerwaldgymnasium was founded in 2008 as a branch of the BG / BRG Purkersdorf and began with a teaching staff of around 20 people. Today the high school has more than 1000 students and is one of the most important schools in the area. A new building, which is planned for the beginning of 2020, will offer space for up to 1,800 students.

There are three branches of the school: the linguistic and humanistic-oriented grammar school, the secondary school with a natural science focus or that with an artistic and educational focus. In addition to French, Spanish is also offered as a second foreign language. There is also an upper secondary high school for horse management , which offers a combination of vocational training and the AHS Matura.

For this purpose, the school cooperates with the technical school for horse management .

Further schools at the Norbertinum

In addition to the Wienerwaldgymnasium, there is also an elementary school and an agricultural college on site.
