Wiesław Fiedor

Wiesław Fiedor (born January 26, 1964 in Nowy Sącz ) is a Polish Paralympian .

During his primary school years, Wiesław Fiedor had an accident with a train, as a result of which his legs had to be amputated. In 2002 he was awarded the Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland ( Złoty Krzyż Zasługi ).

Wiesław Fiedor took part in the Winter Paralympics in 1998 , 2002 and 2006 ;

1998 Winter Paralympics

  • 05th place in the biathlon over 7.5 km, sitting LW 12
  • 06th place in cross-country skiing, 5 km sitting, LW12
  • disqualified in cross-country skiing over 10 km, seated LW 12
  • Unfinished cross-country skiing over 15 km, sitting, LW 10-12
  • 06th place in the cross-country relay 3x2.5 km, sitting, LW 10-12 together with Piotr Kosewicz and Robert Wątor

Winter Paralympics 2002

  • 04th place in the biathlon over 7.5 km, sitting, LW10-12
  • 03rd place in cross-country skiing over 5 km, sitting LW12
  • 01st place in cross-country skiing over 10 km, sitting, LW12
  • 10th place in cross-country skiing over 15 km, sitting LW10-12

2006 Winter Paralympics

  • 14th place in the biathlon over 12.5 km, sitting
  • did not start the biathlon over 7.5 km, sitting
  • 15th place in cross-country skiing over 10 km, sitting
  • 16th place in cross-country skiing over 15 km, sitting
