Wiggert psalm fragments
The Wiggert psalm fragments (signature Magdeburg, Stadtbibliothek, Cod. XII, 18.1) are parts of a Latin psalter with German interlinear translations and glosses in West Slavonic , possibly Old Sorbian ( Magdeburg glosses , Sorbian Magdeburgske glosy ) from the 12th century.

The fragments consist of two parchment double pages and two parchment strips with a maximum size of 190 × 150 mm (originally approx. 240 × 150 mm). They contain parts of the Psalms in Latin. Translations in a mixed dialect of Middle German and Low German are entered between the lines . Glosses in West Slavonic are attached to the edge.
The manuscript was in the Magdeburg City Library , but has been lost. It was named after the Magdeburg historian Friedrich Wiggert , who first described it in 1832.
