Viktor Josifow ( Bulgarian Виктор Йосифов , English transcription: Viktor Yosifov ; born October 16, 1985 in Omurtag ) is a Bulgarian volleyball player .

Career

Josifov started his career in 2004 on the Shumen university team . In 2006 he went to Cherno More Varna . Three years later he made his debut in the Bulgarian national team , with whom he finished third at the 2009 European Championships . He then moved to Italy to M. Roma Volley . With the Romans, the middle blocker made it to the top division in 2010. In the 2011/12 season Josifow played for league rivals Pallavolo Modena . In 2012 he reached fourth place with Bulgaria at the Olympic Games in London . After the tournament he moved to BCC-NEP Castellana Grotte . Josifow has been playing in the German Bundesliga at VfB Friedrichshafen since 2013 . In the 2014/15 season he achieved the national double of championship and DVV cup victory with VfB Friedrichshafen.
