Viktor Vladimirovich Vavilov

Viktor Wladimirowitsch Vawilow ( Russian Виктор Владимирович Вавилов ; born December 12, 1945 in the village of Kirovskoye, Kirovsky district, Kyrgyz SSR ) is a Russian politician and a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Vologda Oblast ( Fair Russia Group ).

Education and professional career

Wawilow joined the armed forces of the USSR in 1963 and was used as part of his military service in the Arctic, the Belarusian SSR, the former GDR and in the city of Vologda. Following this, he graduated from the radio and military school in Krasnoyarsk in 1966 . From 1986 he was head of the new technology department in the Vologda utility system, before becoming chief engineer in 1987. From 1991 to 1994 he worked as an engineer in the Vologda school supply system. In addition, from 1995 he was the managing director of the Committee of Territorial Self-Government for the Bywalowo and Moshaiski Districts in Vologda. Since July 2011 he has been the director of the autonomous non-governmental organization “Center for Support of Bywalowo - Moshaiski Districts”.

Political career

Since March 2000 Vavilov deputy is the Legislative Assembly of the Oblast Vologda. After the last election to the Legislative Assembly (December 4, 2011), he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly at the subsequent organizational meeting on December 14, 2011.
