Wilanow Quartet

The Wilanow Quartet (other names: Wilanow String Quartet , Wilanow Quartet , Kwartet Wilanowski , Kwartet Wilanów ) is a Polish string quartet that was founded in Warsaw in 1967 . This instrumental quartet consists of Tadeusz Gadzina and Paweł Łosakiewicz ( violin ), Ryszard Duź ( viola ) and Marian Wasiółka ( violoncello ). About the name: Wilanów (from Italian: Villanova) is now a southern district of Warsaw on the western bank of the Vistula .
