The Wilbrecht family was a wealthy Munich patrician family .

The family first appears in a document in Munich around 1239/42 . 1318 is the first time a Perchtolt Wilbrecht in the management of Munich detectable members of the family sat long in the inside advice of the city, the highest civil committee. In 1419, a Hans Wilbrecht received the Pasenbach fortress in what is today the municipality of Vierkirchen (Upper Bavaria) in the Dachau district . The Wilbrecht died out in the male line in 1526/48.
