Wild One in Six Flags America ( Upper Marlboro , Maryland , USA ) is a wooden roller coaster by Dinn Corporation and by designer John A. Miller , which opened in 1986 in what was then Wild World .
Originally she went since 1917 as a Giant Coaster at Paragon Park ( Massachusetts ), but was then treated from 1985 to 1986 by Six Flags America.
Trains
Wild One owns two trains made by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters , each with four cars. Six people (three rows of two people) can be seated in each car. The passengers must be at least 1.22 m tall to be allowed to ride.
past
- 1985 : Giant Coaster in Paragon Park was closed and sold to Wild World. Wild World bought the track at the last minute during an auction.
- 1986 : The roller coaster reopened in what was then Wild World (now Six Flags America). The park completely restored the track and reintegrated the original helix at the end of the ride.
- 1991 : Due to the park's financial problems, The Wild One did not open for the 1991 season.
- 1992 : The railway reopened and has been running ever since.
