The Wild Spur is a mountain ridge on the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the west side of the Arctowski Peninsula , it extends from Pulfrich Peak .
It is recorded for the first time on an Argentine map from 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the Swiss geodesist and equipment manufacturer Heinrich Wild (1877–1951), founder of the Heinrich Wild company, a workshop for precision mechanics and optics for development and sales of equipment for geodetic surveying.
