Mogwadi (formerly Dendron ) is a place in the South African province of Limpopo . It is the administrative seat of the municipality of Molemole in the Capricorn district .

In 2011 Mogwadi had residents. Around 84 percent said North Sotho was their mother tongue. The place is 68 kilometers north of Polokwane .
history
The city was founded on the area of the Duitsland farm under the name Dendron, named after the Greek word for "tree" because numerous tree species are found nearby. Mogwadi is also the name of the river that flows near the city.
Economy and Transport
Agriculture with artificial irrigation is practiced around Mogwadi . The city is located on the R521 trunk road, which runs in a north-south direction from the border triangle of Botswana , Zimbabwe and South Africa to Polokwane. Dendron Airport ( ICAO code: FADO) is located south of the city .
