description
The wildlife park Mühletäli was opened in 1951 and is located at the entrance of the Mülitälibach carrying Mülitälis . The Roggenhausen Wildlife Park and the Zofingen Wildlife Park served as models . Orientation boards at the enclosures provide the visitor with more detailed information about the various animal species.
The wildlife park is mainly home to animal species that have been introduced to Central Europe. Fallow deer and sika deer as well as raccoons and mouflons are kept in the enclosures . Entry is free and possible around the clock, all year round. The animals are only allowed to be fed with the food available in the wildlife park. With the ongoing project “More light in the park”, enclosures and accommodation are to be renewed.
reachability
Access for motor vehicles is not possible, parking spaces are available at the Wilerfeld shopping center. From there, the wildlife park can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot. The wildlife park is, among other things, the starting point for hikes to the Sälischlössli and Engelberg .
