Wilfried Töpfer (born August 23, 1945 in Wesermünde ) is a Bremerhaven politician ( SPD ) and he was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

From 1995 to 1999 he was deputy parliamentary group leader and chairman of the committee for the ports in the state of Bremen.

He then became a city ​​councilor and from 2002 to January 6, 2008 was the department head for social affairs, youth and health at the seaside town of Bremerhaven. His successor as a city councilor was Melf Grantz .
