Wilhelm Bröckel

Wilhelm Bröckel (born August 23, 1887 in Riedlingen , † 1957 ) was a German bank and association director.

Career

Bröckel completed a banking apprenticeship between 1902 and 1905 in his native town of Riedlingen. He then found a job at the industrial bank in Ulm . In 1912 he became their authorized representative and was promoted to deputy board member during the war years. At the same time he was a clerk for the central bank Württembergischer Volksbanken .

When the central office moved to Stuttgart in 1925, Bröckel became a member of the board there. At the same time, he became the deputy association director of the Audit Association of Württemberg Credit Cooperatives . After its merger, in 1939 he took over the management of the newly created Württemberg Cooperative Association ( Schulze-Delitzsch ) as an association director and became a member of the association committee of the German Cooperative Association (Schulze-Delitzsch) .

In addition, Bröckel was a member of various supervisory boards: at the Bausparkasse der Deutschen Volksbanken, the Deutsche Genossenschafts-Verlag, the Württembergische Hypothekenbank, the Württembergische Finanz AG, the Gemeinnützige Württembergische Wohnungsgesellschaft and the Stuttgart Kassenverein securities collection bank . He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange .
