Wilhelm Droll

Wilhelm Droll (born April 22, 1893 in Bochum ; † April 21, 1967 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After primary school, Wilhelm Droll completed a three-year apprenticeship at the mining trade association. He went through the commercial school and took specialist courses. Droll attended the Administration and Business Academy. Until his retirement he worked for the mining trade association in Bochum; most recently he was chief inspector.

politics

Wilhelm Droll was a long-time member of the Center Party. He has been a member of the CDU since it was founded. He was a state board member of the Westphalian CDU and from 1951 a board member of the Federal War Victims Committee of the CDU. He initially acted as a board member, later as chairman of the war victims committee of the Westphalian CDU. He worked as a city councilor in Bochum from 1946 to 1956.

Wilhelm Droll was from June 1, 1956 to July 12, 1958 and from August 8, 1961 to July 20, 1962 member of the 3rd and 4th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia, to which he moved up. The Landtag elected him a member of the second (1954) and third (1959) federal assemblies .
