Wilhelm Hinsche

Wilhelm Hinsche (born June 17, 1914 in Kiel ; † April 16, 1998 ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Hinsche attended elementary school and then became a professional soldier. He attended a flag junior school and was subsequently promoted to officer. Hinsche was a participant in the Second World War and was taken prisoner. After his release from captivity, he was hired as an employee at the employment office in the city of Alfeld. From 1948 to 1953 he was mayor and district director of a rural community. Hinsche was chairman of the board of directors of the Kreissparkasse Alfeld and chairman of the supervisory board of the non-profit GmbH Kreissiedlungsgesellschaft in Alfeld. He was also a member of the supervisory board of the Überlandwerk in Leinetal. Hinsche was chairman of the museum association in Alfeld and also district chairman of the workers' welfare. He was made an honorary member of the German Homecoming Association and was a member of the Reichsbund.

Public offices

In 1952 he was elected a member of the district council and since 1955 he has been the district administrator of the Alfeld (Leine) district . Hinsche was an elected member of the Lower Saxony state parliament during the fourth to eighth electoral period from May 6, 1959 to June 20, 1978. Here he was secretary of the Lower Saxony state parliament from July 8, 1970 to June 20, 1978.

Honors

Hinsche is the holder of the Cross of Merit First Class of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Cross of Merit of the Lower Saxony Order of Merit.
