Wilhelm I of Braunschweig-Grubenhagen (* around 1298; † 1360 ) was Prince of Braunschweig-Grubenhagen .

Life

He was the third son of Henry I, the Whimsical and his wife Agnes , born. Margravine of Meissen. After the death of his father in 1322, he and his brothers Heinrich II and Ernst I took over the rule in the Principality of Grubenhagen.

Since Wilhelm remained childless, after his death in 1360 the entire principality of Grubenhagen was ruled by his older brother Ernst.
