John Lennon Collector's Edition is a compilation album by John Lennon . It is the 18th posthumous album after Lennon's death in 1980. At the same time, including the eight solo studio albums, the three avant-garde albums with his wife Yoko Ono , the two live albums , the two interview albums and the compilation albums, it is the 30th total. John Lennon's album. It was released in the US in November 2008 .

History of origin

In November 2008, EMI (EMI Music Special Markets) released a triple CD in the US; the distribution was carried out by Madacy Entertainment , which supplies department stores such as Best Buy and Walmart .

The three CDs are in a hard cardboard box, which is in turn in a metal box. A twelve-page booklet is included. The triple CD contains 17 single A-pages that were released between 1969 and 1988. Come Together is a live recording of the album Live in New York City ; Grow Old with Me is the George Martin orchestrated version of the John Lennon Anthology ; Real Love is from the same album, Love is the version from the Acoustic album , Angel Baby is from the Menlove Ave album. ; the remaining eight songs are titles from the studio albums.

The album was released on CD in November 2008. The great commercial success and the chart entry into the official hit parades could not be achieved by the compilations.
