In November 1986, EMI released the following previously unpublished recordings, which are listed here in chronological order:

  • Rock and Roll People :
It was recorded in early August 1973 during the sessions for the Mind Games album . This track was recorded by Johnny Winter as a cover version for his album John Dawson Winter III and released in November 1974.
  • Here We Go Again , Angel Baby , Since My Baby Left Me and To Know Her Is to Love Her :
These four tracks come from the sessions with producer Phil Spector for the album Rock 'n' Roll , which was released in October through December 1973 at A&M Studios (Hollywood) and Record Plant West Studios (Los Angeles). Angel Baby was already released on the album John Lennon Sings the Great Rock & Roll Hits - Roots . The 1986 version was remixed again by Roy Cicala. The other tracks were remixed by Rob Stevens. Angel Baby , Since My Baby Left Me and To Know Her Is to Love Her were re-released as bonus tracks on the 2004 Rock 'n' Roll album. Here We Go Again is a joint composition by John Lennon and Phil Spector.
  • Steel and Glass , Scared , Old Dirt Road , Nobody Loves You (When You're Down and Out) and Bless You :
On July 13, 1974 screen test found in the Record Plant East Studios in New York City for the album Walls and Bridges instead ; from these recordings these five titles were selected by Yoko Ono. The sessions took place with the following line-up: John Lennon (vocals, guitar and piano), Jim Keltner (drums), Jesse Ed Davis (guitar) and Klaus Voormann (bass). In contrast to the published versions, the recordings were kept minimalist, and in some cases the sung texts also varied.
