History of origin

In September 2006, the John Lennon documentary called The US vs. John Lennon at the Venice International Film Festival premiere. The 96-minute film was directed by David Leaf and John Scheinfeld. The film deals with the political and peace activities of John Lennon and Yoko Ono ; some former political companions are shown in current interviews. Furthermore, the growing fears of the CIA about a “radicalizing” artist John Lennon are listed, which culminated in a threatened expulsion of Lennon from the USA.

The album includes a recording of John Lennon with the Beatles ( The Ballad of John and Yoko ), otherwise Lennon appears as a solo artist. Three tracks are unpublished recordings: Bed Peace is a twelve-second string of the terms Hair Peace and Bed Peace . Attica State is a live recording of the john sinclair freedom rally on December 10, 1971; How do you sleep? is an instrumental version of the song from the album Imagine . Here We Go Again was remastered for the first time by Rob Stevens and three other titles, namely Give Peace a Chance , Happy Xmas (War Is Over) and Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) begin with dialogues from John Lennon and Yoko Ono taken from the film. In Oh My Love , Yoko Ono speaks into the beginning of the song. The CD is accompanied by a twelve-page booklet that includes an explanation by Yoko Ono.
