Gerhard Ludwig Hurlebusch

Gerhard Ludwig Hurlebusch (born June 6, 1753 in Wunstorf ; † February 24, 1813 in Hanover ) was a court medic and Freemason .

Life

Born at the time of the Electorate of Hanover , Gerhard Ludwig Hurlebusch married Sophie Christiane Auguste Bennet in 1785 (born August 19, 1760 in London; † January 14, 1822 in Hanover).

On August 4, 1791, Hurlebusch was accepted into the Masonic lodge Zum Schwarzen Bär . From 1791 to 1810 he headed the maternity hospital in Hanover and was in contact with the Limmerbrunnen spa .

Honors

  • The street Hurlebuschweg, laid out posthumously in 1962 in the Hanover district of Limmer, honors the court medicus with its name.
