Wilhelm Knappich

Wilhelm Knappich (born October 9, 1880 , † December 28, 1970 ) was an Austrian librarian and astrologer .

Wilhelm Knappich was library director of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. After his retirement in 1933, he and Walter A. Koch devoted himself to the history of astrological houses and their calculation bases. With his work Horoskop und Himmelshäuser - Basics and Antiquity (1959) he created, together with Walter A. Koch, one of the most comprehensive analyzes of ancient house systems. His other writings are also considered standard works on the history of astrology.
