Wilhelm Laukhuff

Wilhelm Laukhuff (born January 27, 1903 in Weikersheim ; † 1981 ) was a German entrepreneur and local politician.

Career

After graduating from high school in 1921, Laukhuff completed an apprenticeship as an organ builder in his parents' company. In 1925 he studied foreign languages ​​at the commercial college in Neuchâtel (Switzerland) and continued his education in the United States in 1926/27. After the death of his father in 1933 he became a co-owner of the Aug. Laukhuff organ manufacture in Weikersheim and took care of international relations.

After the end of the Second World War, he was mayor of Weikersheim from 1945 to 1947 and then a local councilor. He was also chairman of the supervisory board of the local Volksbank.
