Wilhelm Müller (preacher)

Wilhelm Johann Müller (* 1633 in Harburg ; † after 1673 ) was a German preacher and writer.

Life

In 1661 he was appointed preacher for the Danish Colony on the Gold Coast in Africa. In 1662 he left Harburg; In 1670 he returned. He then lived in Hamburg , where he wrote down and published his experiences. He dedicated his book to the Danish King Christian V. His work, The African Landscapes Fetu , located on the Guinean Gold Cust, was reprinted several times and is one of the first sources of life on the Gold Coast (today: Ghana ).
