Wilhelm Rebscher

Wilhelm Rebscher (born May 28, 1919 in Rothenberg / Odenwald; † November 20, 2008 ) was a German politician of the FDP .

education and profession

After attending primary school, Wilhelm Rebscher completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. In 1938 he was called up for military service and was taken prisoner of war until 1947. After 1947 he worked as a fitter and from 1965 he was master foreman at the Deutsche Bundesbahn.

politics

Wilhelm Rebscher was a member of the FDP from May 1951. From 1952 to 1956 he acted as local association chairman Duisburg-Süd. From 1961 he was deputy district chairman of the FDP in Duisburg. In 1964 he became a member of the district board of the FDP Ruhr-West and chairman of the economic and social policy committee. From 1968 he was a member of the board of the North Rhine-Westphalia regional association of the FDP. Rebscher was also a member of the state advisory board for pollution control.

Wilhelm Rebscher was a member of the 6th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from September 22, 1969 to July 25, 1970, to which he moved.
