Wilhelm Reuter (painter, 1768)

Wilhelm Reuter (* 1768 in Hildesheim , † 1834 in Berlin ) was a German painter and lithographer.

In 1798 Reuter became a valet of Queen Luise of Prussia and a royal Prussian court painter .

He published the first artistic lithographs in Berlin after 1800.

Reuter was one of the pioneers of "polyauthography" in Germany.
