Wilhelm Seifried

Wilhelm Seifried (born August 7, 1855 in Deizisau , Oberamt Esslingen , † January 11, 1927 in Lindorf ) was a Württemberg farmer, mayor and member of the state parliament.

family

Wilhelm Seifried was the son of the farmer Johann Wilhelm Seifried (* 1821) and Elisabeth Friederike Dreizler (* 1828). He had six siblings.

job

After elementary school he attended the agricultural school in Deizisau until 1871. From 1871 to 1875 he worked as an overseer at the Tachenhausen estate . From 1875 to 1878 he did his military service with the Ludwigsburg Uhlans . In 1879 he became a farmer in Lindorf. There he was the parish clerk and councilor from 1882 and mayor from 1903 until his death .

From 1912 to 1918 Seifried was a member of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament . In 1919 and 1920 he was a member of the state constituent assembly . He was a member of the Württemberg farmers 'and winegrowers' association ( WBWB ).
