Wilhelm Seitz (born July 18, 1904 in Büttgen , Grevenbroich district , † May 15, 1987 ) was a German politician of the FDP .

Wilhelm Seitz attended elementary school and high school. He then studied law and economics in Cologne, Bonn and Innsbruck. From 1934 he worked as a lawyer in Neuss (today's spelling: Neuss ); He received his doctorate in 1939. From 1948 he acted as chairman of the Neuss Bar Association. From 1954 he was a board member of the Düsseldorf Lawyers' Association. Seitz was a member of the International Legal Commission.

Wilhelm Seitz was a member of the FDP from 1950. From 1952 he was a member of the district board and from 1956 to 1963 its chairman. From 1956 to 1963 and from 1966 he was a member of the district board and from 1956 to 1966 chairman of the FDP state committee for legal issues. Seitz was a member of the municipal council in Büttgen from 1929 to 1933 and was also a parliamentary group spokesman. In 1953 he was elected to the city council of Neuss. In the council he was from 1954 parliamentary group chairman. He was mayor of Neuss from 1960 to 1961. He was also a member of the Rhineland Regional Assembly .

Wilhelm Seitz was a member of the 6th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from July 25, 1966 to July 25, 1970, which he entered via the state list.
