Wilhelm Thiele (artist)
Wilhelm Thiele (born January 18, 1872 in Potsdam , † 1939 there ) was a German painter and illustrator .
He studied from 1891 to 1892 at the arts and crafts school and from 1892 to 1895 at the art academy in Berlin. He worked as a drawing teacher at the municipal commercial advanced training school in Potsdam. 1911 to 1913 he contributed images to the Potsdam calendar , 1914, 1915, 1920 to the Berlin calendar and 1915 to the Silesian calendar . Thiele was a member of the Artists' Guild Potsdam and the Association of German Illustrators.
