Wilhelm Voigt (born June 13, 1867 , † after 1933) was a German politician ( SPD ).

biography

After attending primary school, Voigt completed an apprenticeship. From 1902 to 1907 he worked as a material goods dealer and from 1907 to 1918 as an innkeeper in Bernburg . In addition to his professional activity, he was involved in the union and from 1925 to 1933 was the full-time managing director of the Association of Small Farmers based in Leopoldshall .

During the time of the German Empire Voigt joined the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He was 1901-1910 city councilor and 1914-1918 City Council in Bernburg. From 1902 to 1918 he was a member of the state parliament in the Duchy of Anhalt . After the First World War , Voigt served as State Councilor from November 1918 to October 1922 and as Minister of State of the Free State of Anhalt from October 1922 to July 1924 . He was a member of the Landtag of the Free State of Anhalt from 1918 to 1919 and again from 1924 to 1933.
