Wilhelm Willig

Wilhelm Willig (born June 22, 1910 in Bad Wildbad , † February 26, 1992 in Oberhausen ) was a German politician of the Communist Party of Germany and from 1947 to 1950 a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament .

Life

Willig worked as a locomotive machinist, became a works council at Gutehoffnungshütte in Oberhausen in February 1946 and was later a works council at Oberhausener Hüttenwerke AG.

politics

He joined the KPD, was from 1931 to 1933 political leader of the Oberhausen II local group of the KPD and from February to October 1946 a city councilor in Oberhausen. He was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from April 20, 1947 to June 17, 1950.
