Wilhelm von Battlehner
Wilhelm von Battlehner (born November 17, 1906 in Vienna , † January 22, 1992 in Deutschlandsberg ) was an Austrian painter .
Life
Wilhelm von Battlehner studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna , at the Akadem. Painter C. Burges , Dresden.
Study trips took him to Holland, Italy and France.
At the German-American art exhibition in 1972/73 he won first prize twice. From 1970 to 1976 he had a permanent exhibition at the “ Schneefernerhaus ”, Zugspitze.
In 1978 he had a large summer exhibition in Hamburg ( Galerie Metzner ).
His diverse repertoire includes landscapes (mountains), animal motifs and portraits .
