Life

As a clergyman in the Danish diocese of Roskilde , he was designated as doctor legum from 1317 and was appointed papal chaplain on June 3, 1319 . On June 30, 1319 he received a papal dispensation for a parish in his possession for eight years without ordination and a prescribed canonical age , as well as the right to freely dispose of his estate. On March 7, 1327 he received a commission with a canonical and prebende's authority in the cathedral chapter of Roskilde. In Lund , Sweden , he received a commission with prebende on April 8, 1320 and on October 8, 1320 the parish of Väsby was incorporated into his prebende. The canonical with the prebende in Ripen , the Danish Ribe, was awarded to him on March 21, 1320.

On May 10, 1319 Wilke von Kraack received a canonical and the right to a prebend, dignity or office in the Lübeck cathedral chapter . From June 30, 1319 he was canon and from March 7, 1327 dean of Lübeck . In 1328 he was removed from his offices by Lübeck Bishop Heinrich II. Bochholt , so that he led trials against the successors appointed by him in his offices, including Gerhard von Lochem . After Gerhard von Lochem's resignation, he was again the undisputed owner of the Lübeck deanery from July 30, 1341 and led a lawsuit over the estate of the now deceased Gerhard von Lochem, whose possession he came on February 28, 1345. After his death (1345), the Lübeck deanery was only given to Dietrich von Wittingen on January 26, 1348 .

Wilke von Kraack was provided as Schwerin canon on July 12, 1319 with a canonical and a prebend. He is documented as Schwerin canon from June 28, 1324 to September 5, 1337. After his death, his Schwerin benefices were awarded on January 11, 1348 to Dietrich von Wittingen.
