Willamette Week

Willamette Week is a weekly newspaper published in Portland , Oregon , United States . It appears every Wednesday and includes both regional and national topics. Willamette Week is the only weekly newspaper to date to have awarded a reporter a Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Journalism .

Willamette Week was founded in November 1974. Richard Meeker is the publisher of the newspaper and Mark Zusman is the editor-in-chief. The circulation of Willamette Week is around 90,000 newspapers (as of September 2008).
