Éloyse Lesueur-Aymonin (born July 15, 1988 in Créteil as Éloyse Lesueur ) is a French long jumper and three jumper.
Career
Éloyse Lesueur-Aymonin won the silver medal in the long jump at the Youth World Championships 2005 in Marrakech with 6.28 m and was seventh in the 100-meter run in 11.69 s . In 2006 she started at the Junior World Championships in Beijing in the heptathlon , but could not finish the competition. At the Junior European Championships 2007 in Hengelo , she was second in the long jump with 6.34 m. At the World Indoor Championships in 2008 in Valencia , she was fourth with 6.60 m. In 2009 at the U23 European Championships in Kaunas she was third with 6.72 m and at the World Championships in Berlin she was eliminated with 6.40 m in qualification. In the European Team Championship in 2010 in Bergen won Lesueur-Aymonin m long jump competition with a new personal best of 6.78. At the European Championships in Barcelona she was in the French squad , but did not start. In 2011 at the European Indoor Championships in Paris , she was fourth with 6.59 m. The following year she won the title at the European Championships in Helsinki with 6.81 m . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , she finished eighth with 6.67 m. In March 2013, she won the silver medal in the long jump at the 2013 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden .
In 2015 and 2016 she was able to take part in very few competitions due to numerous injuries. She qualified for the 2015 World Championships in Beijing , but had to give up without a valid attempt. In 2017 she concentrated more on the triple jump and qualified in May for the World Championships in London in August.
At the World Indoor Championships in Sopot ( Poland ) in 2014 , she won the long jump title.
Lesueur-Aymonin was French champion in the long jump four times in a row from 2010 to 2013. The 1.79 m tall athlete starts for Saint Denis Emotion .
