Willi Bernecker (born March 9, 1956 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Willi Bernecker played with FC Augsburg in the 2nd Bundesliga until 1979 . This was followed by a season at MTV 1881 Ingolstadt , and in 1980 he moved to Darmstadt 98 . With his teammates he managed to win the championship in the southern season in the 1980/81 season and thus promotion to the Bundesliga . It was followed by relegation after a season. Bernecker stayed in Darmstadt until 1989.
