Willi Gerwinn

Willi Gerwinn (born August 6, 1916 in Werl , Westphalia, † August 21, 2005 ) was a German ministerial official.

Career

Gerwinn did military service from 1935 to 1937. He then took up law studies, which he had to interrupt in 1939 because he was called up for military service. After the end of the war he continued his studies and graduated in 1947. In 1951 he received his doctorate. jur.

After three years of preparatory service in the higher regional court district of Hamm , he became assessor at the regional court of Hamm in 1950 . From 1950 to 1951 he was employed by the school staff in Münster. In 1951 he moved to the Ministry of Culture of North Rhine-Westphalia as a government assessor. There he was appointed government councilor in 1953, senior government councilor in 1954, government director in 1958, ministerial councilor in 1961, senior ministerial councilor in 1963 and ministerial director in 1966. In 1981 he retired.
