Willi Sippel (born March 20, 1929 ) is a German football player who was active for the Saarland national team .
Career
society
He played from 1950 to 1953 at 1. FC Nuremberg , which he achieved in the final round of the German championship in 1950/51 and 1951/52 in each case the second place in the table of the respective group. In the first DFB Cup after the Second World War , he made it with his club to the round of 16 against Alemannia Aachen , which resulted in a 3-3 draw. The subsequent replay against the eventual finalists was lost 2-0. From 1953 to 1955 he was still active for Borussia Neunkirchen . With these he then reached middle table places in the two seasons of the then Oberliga Südwest .
National team
In the national team he came between 1954 and 1955 on a total of 4 appearances in friendly matches. However, each of these games was lost.
