William Ludovic Brandon Bianda (born April 30, 2000 in Suresnes ) is a French football player .

Career

society

Bianda started his career at Red Star Paris . In 2014 he joined the youth team at RC Lens . In April 2017, he made his debut for the Lens B team in the fourth-highest division when he was in the starting line-up against the Lille OSC B team on matchday 25 of the 2016/17 season .

In August 2017 he was against FC Sochaux for the first time in the squad of the professionals from Lens. In December 2017, he finally made his debut for this in Ligue 2 , when he played against Paris FC for the entire season on matchday 18 of the 2017/18 season. By the end of the season, Bianda came to four more appearances in the French second division.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to Italy to AS Roma , where he received a contract that ran until June 2023. At AS Roma, he was only used for the U-19 team in both the 2018/19 season and the 2019/20 season. He played his first UEFA Youth League game against Real Madrid in September 2018 .

At the beginning of August 2020 he was loaned to the Belgian first division SV Zulte Waregem for the 2020/21 season.

National team

Bianda played for a French youth national team for the first time in March 2016. With the U-17 selection , he took part in the 2017 European Championships , where they finished fifth. Bianda was used in four out of five French games, only in the quarterfinals the defender was suspended.

In the same year he took part with the U-17 team in the World Cup, where they failed in the round of 16 against Spain . Bianda was used in all games in France over the full season.

In September 2018 he played against Slovenia for the U-19 team for the first time .
