William Thomas Brande

William Thomas Brande (born January 11, 1788 in London , † February 11, 1866 in Tunbridge Wells , Kent ) was an English chemist .

In 1813 he succeeded Sir Humphry Davy as Professor of Chemistry at the Royal Institution in London.

Also in 1813 he was awarded the Copley Medal .
