William Van Horn

William Van Horn (born February 15, 1939 in Oakland , California ) is an illustrator who created Disney comics from 1988 to 2017 . He mainly drew the cartoon characters Donald Duck and Dagobert Duck , but has also drawn DuckTales stories. Some of these DuckTales stories feature the break pilot Quack (Leekpad McQuack) as the main character. Van Horn drew ten Nervous Rex stories from 1985 onwards before working for Disney .

In the early years of his work as a draftsman for Disney, Van Horn often worked on the stories with John Lustig . In 1994 he helped Carl Barks at a story titled History and Stories (OT: Horsing Around with History ), which in Uncle Scrooge Adventures was released # 33..

William Van Horn's son, Noel Van Horn , is also a Disney comic artist.

  • Baron Itzi Bitzi - a whistling flea owned by Dagobert Duck.
  • Dietram Duck (Rumpus McFowl) - the half-brother of Dagobert Duck (Dagobert says he is his cousin).
