Willy Engelbrecht

Willy Engelbrecht (born May 18, 1962 ) is a former South African racing cyclist .

Willy Engelbrecht was a professional cyclist from 1986 to 1995. The greatest successes of his cycling career were the victories at the 1995 African Games in Harare in road races . In the 1980s Engelbrecht also raced in Europe and won criteria in Germany; In 1992 he came second in the Continentale Classic (ahead of Jan Ullrich ). In 1990 he won the Rapport Toer , 1992 and 1993 Liberty Ride for Sight and 1993 VW Herald . He also started in six-day races in Europe.
