Willy Irrgang

Willy Irrgang (born August 7, 1915 in Berlin ; † 1988 there ) was a German racing cyclist .

Willy, called "Itze", Irrgang started the final spurt for the Berlin club BRC. The Tour de Berlin tour (then called the Berliner Vier-Etappegahrt), which was held almost exclusively between Ascension Day and the following weekend in most years, was won by Irrgang as the first winner in 1953, ahead of the Swede Lund, who came in second . Itze Irrgang was able to convince in the following years in 1954 as second and in 1955 as third.
