Willy Rasche

Willy Rasche (born October 27, 1914 in Essen ; † August 3, 1992 ) was a German politician of the FDP .

education and profession

Willy Rasche attended elementary school and secondary school where he obtained his secondary school leaving certificate. He then did an internship for two years. He took his studies at the higher technical institute for civil engineering in Cologne , where he took the final exam as a civil engineer. He then worked as a civil engineer. Rasche participated in the war from 1939 to 1945. From 1946 to 1978 he worked as a self-employed building contractor. From 1948 he was a board member of the Düsseldorf building guild. From 1955 to 1978 he was a member of the Presidium of the Federation of German Builders, Architects and Civil Engineers eV in Bonn .

politics

Willy Rasche was a member of the FDP and from 1951 to 1955 its deputy district chairman in Düsseldorf and from 1957 to 1965 first chairman of the district association of the FDP Düsseldorf. From October 1952 to 1964 he was a councilor and from 1961 to 1964 he was mayor of the city of Düsseldorf.

Willy Rasche was a member of the 4th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from July 21, 1958 to November 6, 1961, to which he entered via the state list and from which he left prematurely.
