Willy Rodríguez (singer)
Juan Virginio Rodríguez Acosta ( Willy "El Baby" ; * 1941 in Matanzas ) is a Cuban singer.
Rodríguez appeared several times in 1958 and 1959 as a chorus singer with the Sonora Matancera . He then developed into a solo singer and went to Mexico with the Sonora in 1960. There he recorded the boleros Ya no puedo creerlo and Estoy loco with Celia Cruz and acted with Sonora in Rogelio A. González 'film Amorcito corazón as the singer of a pachanga. He was then successful with his version of Alberto Vásquez 'song Tú significas todo para mí and with Fernando Maldonado's Bolero Todo acabó . In the 1990s he was a singer in the Carlos Barbería orchestra and worked there on the LPs Carlos Barbería y su orquesta. Watch out! and Rarezas del siglo with.
