Willy Suchanek

Willy Suchanek (born November 11, 1905 ; † unknown) was a German police officer and SS leader.

Live and act

Suchanek entered the police force in the 1920s. From 1934 to 1936 he was Reinhard Heydrich's personal adjutant in the Secret State Police Office . Then he was appointed liaison officer of the main office of the Ordnungspolizei to Reichsführer SS Heinrich Himmler . In this capacity he became a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 4,691,083) and the SS (SS number 290,461).

Suchanek was appointed police adjutant to Heinrich Himmler during the Second World War . In this position he supported and represented Himmler in his capacity as chief of the police. During the war he was promoted to SS-Obersturmbannführer and lieutenant colonel in the police force.

From 1943 to July 1944, Suchanek led the SS Police Regiment 25 deployed to fight partisans in Poland .
