Wilm Sanders

Wilm Sanders (born May 1, 1935 in Münster ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and author .

Life

Wilm Sanders was ordained a priest in Rome on October 10, 1959 . In 1961 he became a chaplain in St. Josef (Lingen) . In 1964 he became vicar in St. Nikolaus (Kiel) , in 1970 pastor in St. Bonifatius (Kronshagen) . He was also the Catholic broadcasting representative for the hearing. and radio at NDR . Since 1977 he has taught as a lecturer in theology and pastoral care at the Catholic Academy in Hamburg. John Paul II made him Honorary Chaplain to His Holiness in 1988 . 1993 became pastor at the Kleiner Michel . In 1995 he became the ecumenical officer of the Archdiocese of Hamburg. In 2006 he became the archbishop's representative for sick and retired priests. Werner Thissen appointed him resident cathedral capitular at St. Marien-Dom in 2006 .
