Wincenty Maxylewicz
Wincenty Maxylewicz (* around 1685; † January 24, 1745 in Krakow ) was a Polish composer and conductor.
Maxylewicz received his musical training at the Jesuit boarding school in Krakow. From 1719 to 1729 he led the choir of the Church on the Light Mountain in Częstochowa . He was then a singer and from 1739 Kapellmeister at Kraków Cathedral.
The only surviving work that comes with certainty from him is the a cappella motet Gloria tibi trinitas . Two other unsigned motets are attributed to him, which are also kept in Krakow. A Missa Triumphalis is mentioned in the sources, but is missing.
