The Windy Valley ( English for Windy Valley ) is a with glacial ice stuffed valley at the Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It opens to the northern section of Mikkelsen Bay and allows access to the Lammers Glacier area and the Traffic Circle glacier system via its head end .
Participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill named it after the strong winds that blow from the inland plateau of the Antarctic Peninsula through this valley.
