Wingless Angels

Wingless Angels is a reggae band from Jamaica best known for their collaboration with Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones .

Ska legend Justin Hinds had retired to his native Steertown near Ocho Rios in the 1990s , where he led a Nyabinghi group. Keith Richards had had a house in Ocho Rios since the 1970s. He was friends with Hinds. In the fall of 1995, Richards recorded the band's music at home. With some overdubs , Richards released the album in 1997 under the name Wingless Angels .

In 2010 the follow-up album Wingless Angels II was released . The recordings were made before Justin Hinds died in 2005.
