Winter X Games 2010

The Winter X Games XIV took place from January 28 to 31, 2010 for the ninth year in a row in Aspen , Colorado . 250 participants, including 39 Olympic participants, competed in the three sports freestyle skiing , snowmobiling and snowboarding . The event was the last major meeting in the disciplines of snowboard halfpipe , snowboard cross and ski cross before the Winter Olympics , which began in mid-February . For the first time, a ski superpipe high-air competition, a snowmobile knockout contest and a disabled SnoCross competition for snowmobiles were held.
